What to expect when you contact us.
All information gathered is kept in the strictest confidence. We will never divulge a clients name or any information without without the clients permission.
When a client first contacts C.A.P.E. Paranormal investigations, we take the information from the client as to what has transpired at the location in question. The Client will provide us with their name, address, telephone number, and email address. They will also provide the address of the activity if different from their home address. Our case manager will then make contact with the prospective client, gathering more information. A time will be set up for two of our investigators to come by the location for the purpose of an on site interview, gathering more information on the location and the occurrences there. We explain the processes of how the investigation is conducted, and interview other persons that may have valuable information to offer the team. If the team determines that an investigation is appropriate based on this interview and research, we than schedule a date to bring in our equipment and start an in-depth investigation.
Investigations are normally carried out during the evening hours after the sun goes down. Generally most paranormal activity can be captured late at night. This could even entail an overnight visit depending on the clients wishes, the amount of evidence, the level of activity, and the size of the location. Daytime investigations can also be accomplished but as previously stated most, paranormal activity happens at night. It depends on what the client is most comfortable with or if their schedule does not allow for a nighttime investigation.
It is also important that the clients understand that while an investigation is in progress, we ask that clients try to occupy their time with other activities while the team investigates. It's best that the residents wait somewhere out of the area of investigation. They can continue to stay at the location being investigated but, we prefer that the client does not involve him or herself or interfere in any way with the investigation. We want our investigators to be as non-biased as possible. We come into an investigation with open minds. We let the true evidence stand on its own. We certainly understand the concerns and curiosity that a client may have when it comes to how an investigation is performed, and what evidence may be found. Unfortunately, most of our evidence isn't revealed until after we have left the premises and all the investigators review all of the evidence.
Once the evidence has been analyzed, a meeting is set up with the clients to discuss the team's findings. Follow up investigations may be required in cases where the evidence was inconclusive or corrupted. All return visits made by the team are at the discretion of the Client. The Client is always given copies of any and all evidence collected by C.A.P.E.
