That appears to be dust or lint.

Did you just wipe your lens when you shot this? looks like a small fiber from a lens cloth.

Nope, The lens was cleaned before the shoot and that is the only picture out of about 100 that showed the spot.

This is an odd pic, then. Out of the 100 you took, do you have any more of the same area. What were the circumstances surrounding this shoot. Was the heat/Ac on?
I'm at odds on this one because it doesn't look like your typical floater, but paranormal is hard to determine without a little background info.

The picture was taken at the Ripley's Museum during a paranormal investigation. There are other Pictures of the same area that show nothing. There are other places in the museum That show orbs but that is not what I am looking for LOL and some that show vary interesting stuff. but so far I have not gotten permission to post them.

I am going to have to respectfully agree. It looks just like a pic I have where I had just wiped off my dig. camera lens with a fog proof lens wipe. In the viewfinder I noticed something almost identical. So I looked at the lens and although it was nearly misroscopic, there on the lens was a pice of the lens cloth. This is the reason I asked initially, and it may have come off B/t that photo and the next.
Again I mean all this respectfully, and I am not going to say that you are wrong. What do you think it is?

OK. I've stared at this till I'm crosseyed, and upon closer inspection I think I'm gonna recant the lint/lens idea. This is why paranormal photography is such a wonderful challenge. And just like any other item in this field, nothing is concrete. And I made the simplest mistake; jumping to a conclusion.Sorry.
Now looking closely at this I noticed a couple of things. First, the wall that the anomaly appears on. It seems to be some type of semi-reflective, highly polished surface such as granite or marble. Is that the case?
Secondly, when I first looked at the "s" anomaly it appeared to be solid, thus giving me the impression of lint. But if you really look at it, you can see the design of the granite/marble through it. It also appears to be its own light source. Therefore, in it's translucence, and with it's apparent "glow" ,It more than likely is NOT lint on the lens.
So what is it? I won't speculate again until I'm sure this time. just one more thing. Is the photo digital or film. Thanks for the challenge by the way, I love solving things.

That one is digital, I have 35mm A Vivitar xc4 Professorial model but I cant count on them being processed correctly so unless I know I am going to be shooting something unique. I us the Digital.
