Hello and welcome to Ghost Stories!, I'm Beachparrot, the moderator of this category.
Before you venture in the deep, dark stories
, please take a few minutes, if you haven't done so, to read the rules of the board in Announcements. In addition, in this category you will be expected to:
1. Not use all caps, unless you really intend to shout. Better yet, DON'T SHOUT!
2. Use punctuation. It's really hard to make sense out of a sentence that goes for 30 lines. Duh, use spell check!!
3. Remember, this is a private board and everyone is entitled to their opinion, but that right ends at the other person's nose. In other words, degrading and/or prejudice posts will not be tolerated. The first offense will get you a warning and the post(s) deleted, the second will get you banned for 30 days and a third will get you kicked off the island with no return ticket.
4. Treat each other with respect and consideration. Just because you're in cyberspace doesn't mean manners and good taste has been suspended. A jerk is a jerk, even in cyberspace.
5. If a forum staff member tells you to do something, just do it. They have a good reason and it's not open for debate. Ignoring, arguing, complaining and/or starting a new thread to bitch about it or the staff will only get you an express ticket off the forum.
6. Insulting the moderators is always a really stupid idea, nuff said.
7. Debate is good. Joking, off color stuff (within reason), and even some "insert group eye rolls and finger down the throat here" flirting is fun, but stirring up trouble ain't cool. Don't!!
8. If I tell you you've crossed the line and to knock it off, knock it off. I'm very open minded, so rest assured, if I think you've crossed the line, others will think you have erased it.
9. Post porn or nudity, you're gone. If it is discovered you have posted pirated material, the first time it will be deleted. Get caught doing it again, wave bye-bye as your ass is bounced out of here.
10. Remember, this is an open forum so people are not going to agree. There are going to be arguments, snide comments, insults, etc., accept and deal with it. If you can't handle that, don't post.
