The only thing I can think of with the doll is that somehow the vibration of them walking through the cabin shook loose the last crud/sand/dust/dirt/debris/whatever that was holding it's eyes shut and it popped open. Those dolls are designed to open their eyes in the position it was in. So maybe? That's the only thing that came to mind for me. (I'm a big believer in things settling and sometimes appearing "paranormal" when they're acting naturally.) If it had happened slowly instead of quickly, I might be inclined to believe they should have checked for a device.

With that said, when it happened on the show, I immediately jumped up, turned to Jason and said, "I would have sh*t my pants and had a heart-attack RIGHT THERE. That's all it would have taken to send me to the other side!"  Gho1

None of that stuff ever bothered me. I just would have been looking for how it was faked. The clue that it was nothing paranormal is the EMF reading from the pole. There is no reason there should have been any EMF on an Island with no power. And I am not saying that DT team faked it. But I would not put it past the locals, they need the tourist trade.

Nothing like a gullible gringo with some dinero....those creepy dolls are just that, old junky dolls. Used to play with them as a kid when I'd visit my cousin, (unwilling playing, so boring) the eyes pop open at any movement whatsoever....they are designed to do that. The eyes are set very loosely in those sockets and at any shift of position they pop open, whether you turn them upside down even, they pop open. A good vibration could set them off....

The doll island freaked me out. I don't scare easily but dolls, well, scare the heck out of me!!  As for the doll opening its eyes. I am not convinced the PN b/c having had a couple dolls when I was younger (they were well secured out of my sight at night) sometimes they do that.  Wait, maybe they don't and my dolls were possessed.  Escape  I can tell you one thing for sure, I would not have spent 30 minutes alone in that shack with all those dolls!! No way no how!! Not happening!!

The Romanian forest!! WOW!!  That was pretty compelling footage and at first I thought he just startled and jumped but I have watched again and it really looks like he was pulled forcefully up.

Next week should be really good. They are going into King Tut's tomb to do the first PN investigation.

I am really loving this season so far!!  That Josh Gates is hilarious!!!
