Am I the only one shocked to find out that Zack Bagans, provoker extraordinaire and his show Ghost Adventures did  the Castillo San Marco in St. Augustine ? Watch next Friday night and see how it turns out.

Actually, I am really envious, I know folks who set up TAPS investigations who have been trying to get the Castillo and have not been able to.

This place is a state/national park, what strings did Bagans pull ? I'd like to know.....we are a local group, heck, one of our members lives next door to one of the Castillo directors,....wonder if we can get in?Huh??

What do you all think?Huh? should we write a letter and try and get permission?

I'd like to hear what the excuse would be if they would not grant us permission...we dont have a TV show?

By the way, the Ghost Adventures tonight was really creepy, some great EVPS out of that place. What do you all think of Zack's "partial possesion" ?

Soap Box Somebody needs to start rattling doors in St. Augustine and get some places there for our team to do. And yes send them a letter, or better yet go there and request to see the director. That way you can look him in the eye and ask. Now that the nut case has done it, maybe they will be more receptive to having a real paranormal group do their place.

I am so glad to hear that I am not the only one who feels this way. I felt I was , perhaps, overreacting with my visceral reaction of shock and confusion, and kinda mad.

Yes, I will contact S., who lives next door to said employee in St Aug., and will go over to the Castillo and ask about when we can set up our investigation. I'll take a written request with me.

(I will do this as soon as my Mom gets here the 10th of  this week and can watch the kids for me).

I can't believe they would allow GA, but not GH.  Go for it Vish, that would be a great investigation.

TAPS event coordinator Marc Tetlow,(he has set up events at the lighthouse with TAPS folks  has tried to get the Castillo. As a matter of fact, the last time I talked to Marc, that was back in February, I asked him about the Castillo and he said he was in negations with them. I guess  he was not able to set anything up, cause GA got there first.. GH pretty much has carte blanche in St Aug so I have no idea how GA got the Castillo.
