Good news everyone, I talked to the Ranger at Olustee Battlefield National (or State) Park. We spoke on the phone yesterday and it looks like this could be our next investigation, depending on what
thinks. I have my initial interview Tuesday.
Now , There are a couple of issues everyone needs to know up front.
First there is no power that Im aware of anywhere near the areas with the activity.
Second its about a mile hike from the parking lot to the battlefield.
Third its kind of in a swampy are, so we'll need to go before the weather warms and makes the mosquitos come out in the billions.
Finally the Ranger was telling me that other groups have investigated, and that they gave a donation to the park. I told hom we could do this too. The whole "one hand washes the other" thing. I figure if everyone gives $5 or $10 that would make a nice gift, but ultimately thats is up to each individual.
