Posting this for Vishi.

7 Sisters Ghost Hunt
Ocala Florida

I went to a ghost hunt at the 7 Sisters Inn on Feb 8. The 7 Sisters Inn are two beautiful refurbished Victorian mansions on Ft King Street in Ocala. I stayed overnight in  Scott’s Room. Each room in the inn is decorated in a different theme. Scott’s room was a very tasteful nautical theme.

Meeting psychic Chip Coffe: Chip Coffe was a featured guest of the ghost hunt. He had a question and answer session along with Kristyn Gartland of TAPS. This guy is hilarious. I guess if you spoke to dead people all day you would have to have a great sense of humor too. Actually, I got to speak to him alone briefly and he was a genuinely gracious and friendly person. He and Kris gave me a great answer to my question ”What do I tell my children about the paranormal without scaring them?” Paraphrasing, they told me to tell them the truth, that spirits or ghosts are people and that we live on after our physical body dies, to not be afraid, those ghosts on TV are not real.  The angels are real.  I told Chip, “My kids want me to catch and bring home a baby ghost” (from my ghost hunts). He asked “What do they want, a little poltergeist to play with?” We all laughed.

I spent the whole night sitting in different rooms of the house. The China room proved to be active for us. As we sat in the dark, we heard creaking in one spot. It sounded like someone standing and shifting from foot to foot on the wood floor. I took two photos in succession in the direction of the noises. The first photo shows a dark opaque shadow in the corner. It actually looks like it is between the camera and the rest of the room. The next photo does not show it. We later tried to debunk the creaking floor in that spot and could not recreate the sound. Please take a look at the photos and tell me what you think it is.
Other ghost hunters that night reported being touched, hearing voices and catching evps.

Franks box: a franks box was being used and I stayed a while in the room to watch. I am not impressed. Supposedly some spirit name Peter was trying to communicate. Right. And I’m Mother Theresa.

Overall, it was a fun and educational event. I got to see how a very psychically gifted person works, how other paranormal investigators work, did some networking, made some new friends in the paranormal field, and got to meet Chip Coffe. It was great to see Kristyn Gartland again, as she is always willing to share her knowledge with you. My room at the inn was beautiful and the English high tea and gourmet breakfast I received as a guest of the inn were delicious. I would recommend the 7 Sisters Inn to other ghost hunters. It’s a great place, and yes, it's haunted.

Wow . Good shadow. No finger or anything natural you can think of.

Ahhhh Frank's Soap Box. This device is nothing more than a digital radio with the scanner filter removed. So what happens is that if you put it on scan it will stop on a station for a second and move on. What the investigator will do is ask a question, then push scan. Then they will write down or record the words from each station it stops at.
Example: "What is your favorite food" push scan " I...like...pizza...alot" .
That would be considered class "A" . Msot of the time however its more like " Bowling... 107.9 rock...helicopter... frog...Obama... 37... Hotdog." Now alot of investigators would offer that as evidence. I say CRAP!!! Auditory matrixing. Listen long enough and you'll hear anything.

When I took this picture I thought maybe I had caught my finger too but then I tried to recreate it and the camera, if my finger is near the lens, showed a pinkish-tan color blob(finger color) but who knows, it could be that, although I have been using that same camera for years and have never taken a photo of my finger yet.
I am open to all suggestions as to what the shadow might be.
Also, I listened to my EVP session of the China room and I think I might have a "shut up" or "get up" recorded near the time this photo was taken. Still have to clean up the EVP first before I can be certain.

Also, just noticed this now, do you all see the two large orbs in the shadow photo?
I knows its probably dust but what a coincidence.

The orbs are probably dust, but the shadow is pretty interesting because it's so completely black. Normally with a camera strap you get something close to the color of the strap (i.e., grey, white, etc) and Vishi's right about fingers. They end up with at least one pink or tan edge.

Very cool! Let us know if you're able to clean up the EVP.

One of the reports for SSI in Ocale was that people noticed unexplained shadows. It was on the GH show that covered it. So maybe you caught something. Also, if you took the shots back to back in the order they're posted, I dont think your orbs are dust. Whenever it is dust it will appear on the first shot and start to dissipate over successive shots. this is the case 99% of the time . I've taken thousands of shots and this is ALWAYS the case. With yours the opposite happened. So unless you intentionally stirred up dust or the heat kicked on B/T shots, you can pretty much rule out dust.

Now ,cleaning your EVPs. First goto your Audacity file and open your selected recording. Play it to find and mark your EVPs, then go back to each one toclean it up. The best way I found to do it is goto the EFFECTS file on your toolbar and select NOISE REDUCTION. Select the top option and find a spot on the recording with no noise whatsoever & copy it. Then hit the second option to insert it into the EVP. Once you do that go back to the EFFECTS bar and goto NORMALIZE. This will amplify the EVP, while the 1st thing will take out background noise. You will hear your EVP then good.
This is about the easiest way to cleanthem up. I've caught a few good ones from Whale Tales using this method.

I won't speculate about the validity of the photo, but I will say it looks eerily similar to what Daniel and I saw moving across the ceiling of my office when we investigated our house.  It has characteristics that, IMVHO, most unexplained shadows seem to have in common.  That's my 2 cents for what they're worth.
